Big Bend Natural History Association Details
Established in 1956 as a private non-profit, Big Bend Natural History Association supports the park by researching and providing information for guests about the natural and human history of the Big Bend. It has bookstores in every visitor center and all the proceeds from sales go directly back into improving the park experience for everyone who visits. Some of their projects include, supporting the Junior Ranger Program, a variety of seminars on different park topics, providing grants for further park research and publishing trail guides and brochures.
