Wind Cave Canyon Trail Details
This easy trail begins just north of the Wind Cave Visitor Center southern access road, on the east side of Highway 385. It meanders 1.8 miles one-way along Wind Cave Canyon, and is a great destination for bird watchers. You can find cliff swallows and great horned owls nesting in the canyon's limestone walls, and dead trees are home to red-headed and Lewis woodpeckers.
