Wild Cave Tour Details

This is the most difficult and longest of the cave tours. It is your introduction to basic but "real" caving: be prepared to crawl and enter some pretty tight spots. If you are claustrophobic, or do not like getting dirty, this is not the tour for you! You'll see areas of the cave on this tour that you won't see on any other tour, such as the Muddle Room and Ripple Marks. The minimum age for this tour is 16. The cost is $30 for adults and $15 for seniors. Wear sturdy walking shoes and old clothes that you don't mind getting ripped or dirty. The rangers provide hard hats, headlamps, and knee pads. Reservations are required for this tour: you can call up to a month in advance. The tour is offered daily at 1:00 p.m. from early June through early August, and only on weekends the rest of the year. The tour lasts four hours, and each tour is capped at 10 people.
