Elk Mountain Campground Details

Elk Mountain Campground is the only established campground in Wind Cave National Park. The campground has 75 sites situated on the edge of the prairie and the forest. Sites cost $18 during the summer, when water at the bathrooms is running. During winter the water gets shut off and sites cost just $9 per night. Each site is big enough to accommodate up to eight people and one car. Twenty-five sites accommodate RVs and two sites -- B2 and D3 -- are accessible to people with disabilities. There are no dump stations, hookups or showers. When the water gets turned off at the end of the season, you can use the pit toilets.
