Elk Mountain Nature Trail Details
The Elk Mountain Nature Trail is a self-guided interpretive trail. The 1.2-mile (one-way) journey begins at the Elk Mountain Campground, and features nine educational displays along the way. Printed guides, available at the visitor center or online, have information about the different ecosystems, plants, and wildlife present in the park, as well as park history, the science behind prescribed burns, and more.
