Wind and Jewel Cave National Parks, Custer State Park and Crazy Horse Mountain are just north of Rapid City, so there's plenty of options for places to visit and things to do. Mount Rushmore is only 23 miles north, as well. There are over 4,000 guest rooms in the local hotels. Restaurants range from Minerva's Restaurant and Bar with family style service to Circle B Chuckwagon Supper and Cowboy Show, complete with western shootouts and pony rides.
