Veterans Point Trail Details

The 3/4-mile boardwalk of the Veterans Point Trail in Black Hills National Forest is fully wheelchair accessible, allowing people of all abilities to enjoy the view of the Pactola Reservoir as well as a short jaunt through a ponderosa-pine forest. Interpretive signs point out highlights along the way. The trail is located in the Veterans Point area of the park, which has a picnic area, restrooms, and fishing piers (also accessible). The parking lot for the trail is right off of Highway 385, on the east side of the lake.
