Accessibility
Everyone's welcome to enjoy one of the last old-growth forests in the United States.
Plan Around Accessibility
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Accessibility Details
Though most of the park is unimproved, there are accessible spots so that everyone can enjoy one of the last old-growth forests in the country. The Harry Hampton Visitor Center is fully accessible, as is the Boardwalk Trail that begins and ends at the center. The 2.4-mile loop trail is complimented by a self-guided brochure that is available at the visitor center.
