Kid-Friendly Programs Details
Kids between the ages of six and 12 can participate in the park's Junior Ranger program by filling out an activity booklet as they explore the park. Children can return their booklet to a park ranger at the end of the day: four completed pages earns them a sticker, and eight pages is rewarded with a Junior Ranger badge. Kids can also opt to join in age-appropriate activities held at the Rim Visitor Center from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., July through September; they'll get a Junior Ranger patch for every activity they complete.
