Lock 29 Details

This unique lock and its Peninsula Aqueduct carried Ohio & Erie Canal boats across the Cuyahoga River. The aqueduct was washed away in the flood of 1913, but you can walk into the old lock and see the aqueduct's former foundation. You also may spot the remains of a 19th century grist mill here.
