Forest Point Trail Details
Providing excellent access to the Ledges and Pine Grove Trailhead, the unpaved path from the Octagon Shelter area yields a brief, but enjoyable walk through from sunny meadow to a shady canopy of native deciduous trees. The area around the trailhead is also a popular impromptu-recreation and picnic area. The level trail makes a great loop and can provide a nice overlook toward Ritchie Run from viewpoints and picnic sites along the trail.
