Ledges Trailhead Details

This large picnic area is located at the Ledges Trailhead, just off Truxell Road. There are approximately sixty one picnic tables, fifty nine barbecue grills, a semi-permanent restroom and water foundations available. The Ledges Shelter is located near the Ritchie Ledges, approximately two miles of Sharon Conglomerate stone cliffs about thirty feet in height. The shelter is adjacent to a large field and hiking trails. The building has two fireplaces, eight picnic tables inside, eight picnic tables in the outside pavilion, and a large grill outside. It accommodates up to 75 people. Fees are $110 weekends and holidays, and $80 weekdays. To make a reservation or to obtain more information about shelter rentals, contact Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association at (330) 657-2909 ext. 119 on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
