Dickerson Run Trail Details
The shortest bridle trail in the park system, measuring a mere mile, this wooded trail provides a great opportunity to see the Dickerson Run area from a number of different perspectives. The trail follows the Run from both the creek valley and the ridge above it, which has some excellent views during the late fall and winter when the leaves have fallen. Lower areas along the trail can be quite muddy, but the dampness provides a habitat for the many ferns, mosses, and skunk cabbages that carpet the forest floor. The trail is also only accessible via the Wetmore Trail. PLEASE NOTE: the Dickerson Run Trail trail is currently CLOSED.
