Buckeye Trail Details
Traveling nearly 1,400 miles between Cleveland and Cincinnati, this long distance trail is Ohio's off-road challenge for adventurous hikers. It traverses plains and hills, forests and streams, and 37 challenging miles in CVNP. The blue blazes marking the trail begin in Bedford and end in Akron, and pass through and near a number of the park's most spectacular attractions. The narrow trail is best suited for hikers, and segments of the trail can be combined with other, shorter trails in the park system for good loops.
