A recent development in park structure, this connecting trail allows for access between downtown Akron and the Towpath Trail. Its proximity to the downtown area also allows for access to the Cascade Locks and the historic Mustill Store, as well as the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. The trailhead itself offers a maintained green space and information kiosk treating the Towpath Trail, park regulations, and habitat and wildlife facts. This small parking lot has approximately 25 spaces available.
