North Unit Visitor Center Details

The North Unit Visitor Center is open year-round, Friday to Monday only, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central time. It is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. While a new visitor center is under construction for the North Unit, a temporary visitor center is open and offers park information, informal presentations, and a gift shop. The Theodore Roosevelt Nature and History Association operates a bookstores in the North Unit Visitor Center and also offers an [online bookstore](trnha.org/shoptrnha.html). Facilities include wheelchair accessible restrooms. Take US 85 north from Belfield, N.D., to get to the North Unit entrance.
