Little Mo Nature Trail Details
The Little Mo Trail is a paved and mostly flat trail that starts at the Juniper Campground and loops along the Little Missouri River. Close to the start is a picnic area that includes a rustic pavilion with a couple of picnic tables and grills. Grab a guide at the trailhead to identify the markers posted along the way that highlight some of the plants and geologic features. Keep in mind that the trail has little shade. The inner loop of the Little Mo trail is paved and wheelchair accessible. The longer, outer loop trail is dirt and leads to the top of a butte overlooking the river.
