Kid Friendly Options Details

Kids of all ages can enjoy Theodore Roosevelt National Park, discovering the wildlife, exploring nature trails, participating in ranger programs, camping under the stars, and of course cooking marshmallows over a fire. Kids may also become a Junior Ranger: ask for a Junior Ranger Field Journal at one of the visitor centers, then complete the activities to earn a Junior Ranger Badge. Family Fun Packs are available that include field guides, binoculars, hand lenses, and activities created to help families get the most out of their park experience. Family Fun Packs can be obtained for a 24-hour loan at either the South Unit Visitor Center or the North Unit Visitor Center. There is no charge, but a valid photo ID and credit card are required.
