Mouse Creek Falls Details
These 35-foot falls are located near the end of an easily traveled, gravel trail that was once an old logging railroad grade. After passing Midnight Hole, a small, 6-foot cascade smashed between enormous boulders that is home to brook trout and an excellent swimming hole, Mouse Creek joins Big Creek and spills over moss-covered vertical rock faces. The falls are two-tiered, shaded by tall hemlocks, and are home to tons of small wildflowers in the early spring, lending to the area's enchantment.
