Jericho Mountain State Park Details
Established in 2005, this is one of the newer state parks in New Hampshire. There is a wealth of beauty to explore here, from the sparkling 230-acre Lake Jericho to the lush, tree-lined peak of Jericho Mountain. The diverse landscape also means you can participate in a variety of outdoor sports. The rolling terrain has 50 miles of trails, making it ideal for mountain biking, snowmobiling, and even ATV riding. In fact, this is the only official ATV riding area in the entire state! There is also a 2.5-mile long off-roading trail for vehicles (it is also the only designated Jeep off-roading site in New England). While land-based activities are popular, many visitors also come to hang by the lake for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The park also has camping facilities and a visitors center.
