Snake Creek Details
Fishing in the Snake Creek is difficult, mostly because in order to access the water, you either have to slide down a good amount of sheer rock or crash through some brush, both of which tend to scare the fish. The trout here are not as plentiful as in other places in the park, but if you hit the right spot, it can be a great experience. You are allowed to fish from the park boundary to the pipeline outlet. To reach Snake Creek, take 487 to Garrison and take a right just before the town at the sign that points to Snake Creek. Remember that all fishing requires a Nevada state fishing permit that can be purchased online and printed out. If you are fishing, you must have your permit on-hand. The park does not sell fishing permits.
