Mather Overlook Details
One of the only overlooks that offers a large parking area, Mather Overlook is the perfect place to get a survey of the land that is generally shrouded by trees up to this point in the drive. From the overlook you can see Wheeler Peak, the valley and everything in between with beautiful light shining down. If you are lucky, this is a great place to see rainbows after a shower. Have you camera ready either way, as this is an excellent to snap some pictures of the peak, valley panoramic vista. This scenic overlook also offers picnic tables, restrooms and a telescope.
