Lehman Creek Trail Details
Located just across from the Upper Lehman Campground Picnic Area, this trail leads the experienced hiker along the Lehman Creek for an 8-mile out and back hike. The scenery changes constantly, and hikers are treated to the full span of valley, mountain, and river scenery as you make your way along the creek bed. Be aware that you are starting at a high altitude and gaining another 2,070 feet as you hike. Altitude sickness is a real possibility if you don't take frequent breaks, drink lots of water, and eat some food as you go.
