Johnson Lake Trail Details

There are a couple of different ways to reach Johnson Lake. If you prefer a shorter route than taking the South Fork off the Baker Lake Trail, this is the way to go. This route brings you by the old Snake Creek drainage areas, as well as through the historic Johnson Lake Mine area and all its related structures. Be sure not to enter any mine structures as they are not secure and can be very dangerous. Ending at Johnson Lake you are met with the beautiful sight of the cliffs reflected in the lake's clear water, making this a perfect spot for a picnic and photo op. The Johnson Lake Trailhead is located at the very end of Snake Creek Road.
