Kettle Falls Dam Tour Details
Once you've found your way to the Kettle Falls site -- whether by cruise boat or by paddling yourself -- you can take a ranger-led tour of the dam and surrounding area. The ranger will provide an informational talk on the history of the area, followed by a short quarter-mile walk to an overlook with views of the dam. This walk is not accessible to people with disabilities. From June 19 to Aug. 19, the tour is available on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at 1:00 p.m. and on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. From Aug. 23 to Sept. 22 the tour is available on Sundays at 1:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. The tour lasts half an hour.
