Heart of the Continent Partnership Details
[The Heart of the Continent Partnership](http://www.heartofthecontinent.org/) is a coalition of Minnesotans and Ontario natives, working together to promote the "economy, cultural and natural health" of the boundary waters and lakes region, as well as the forests and communities that thrive on either side of those waterways. The Heart of the Continent refers to a chunk of more than five million acres of publicly owned lands between Minnesota and Canada, and the goal of the organization is to form a common identity between those who live in or around the area, regardless of which country they reside in. Economic stability for boundary communities, like International Falls, is also a big focus of this group.
