National Parks of Lake Superior Foundation Details
This non-profit organization is the official fundraising partner for Isle Royale National Park as well as the four other National Parks on Lake Superior: Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Grand Portage National Monument, Keweenaw National Historical Park and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The mission of the organization is to support the "natural resources and cultural heritage" of these sites, to enable future generations to continue to enjoy them. The National Park Service allots only a small budget to each park, so fundraising efforts like those of NPLSF are vital to many of the park's educational programs, and trail maintenance and conservation efforts. Donations are tax deductible.
