Belle Isle Campround Details
This campground is located on a spit of land on the northern end of Belle Harbor. The campground has one individual tent platform site and six shelters, both of which are for groups of six or less. These sites are first come first served, though you do need to pick up a permit and pay a daily $4 per person park-use fee (both of these can be done online or in person at any of the park visitor centers). You are allowed to use open campfires here. There is also potable water and an outhouse. The dock here is open for overnight use. The water depth at the dock is 13 inches, under normal conditions, and the use of onboard generators is permitted. Maximum consecutive stay from June through Labor Day is five nights. Observe Leave No Trace practices and carry out all waste.
