Hobstone Woods Details
Originally meant to be a development, the 21 acres of Hobstone Woods were set aside in 1997 as a woodland retreat. The network of three trails loop through hemlock, fir, and spruce trees that are dotted with vernal pools and wildlife. The moderate to easy trails cover approximately a mile of the acreage and take visitors past rocky outcroppings and old historic stone walls. There are some areas where streams cross the path, as well as a few moderate inclines
