Roaring Brook Nature Trail Details

The Roaring Brook Nature Trail is a self-guided nature tour. The trail begins at the bridge over Roaring Brook and will lead you through several plant communities in a loop hike. The full loop is just over a mile long on moderate terrain. Follow the blue blazes and work hard on your observation skills. Many of the plants found along the trail are listed within the handout which can be picked up at the Ranger Station. By taking this hike you will be utilizing your senses to experience just one of the many special areas in Baxter State Park.
