North and South Brother Mountains Trail Details

A part of the Klondike Basin, the North and South Brother Mountains are accessed by the Marston Trail. The trail begins at the Park Tote Road, at a small parking area just south of the Slide Dam Picnic Area. The trail crosses several small brooks several times and on a steady ascent. At 1.3 miles bear left and continue on the Marston Trail. At 1.6 miles cross Roaring Brook and ascend steeply into a small bowl between South Brother and the Cross Range. Once past Teardrop Pond, begin a steep ascent up the south slope of the Cross Range. Bear east along the ridge to the trail junction at 3.7 miles, just between North and South Brother. Follow the Marston Trail left toward North Brother. To the right, the Mt. Coe Trail offers access to South Brother and Mt. Coe. The Marston Trail traverses the saddle and begins a steep ascent on the southern slope of North Brother. The summit has open views in all directions.
