Grab a free copy of the informative _Beaver Log _newspaper, and learn about Ranger-led activities taking place during your visit. Also, if you want to camp at the Park's Blackwoods or Seawall campgrounds but don't have a reservation, you can check here to see if there are any sites available. The Thompson Island Information Center has restrooms, drinking fountains, and a picnic area. It's open mid-May to mid-October. If it's closed when you arrive, you can get information at either the Hulls Cove Visitor's Center on Route 3 or at Park Headquarters, which doubles as the Winter Visitor's Center and is located on Route 233.
