Jesup Path Details
This trail skirts the west edge of the Great Meadow, weaving though hemlock, paper birch, and maple groves, and dodging the many beaver ponds riddling the open marshes. While the trail is a beautiful introduction to Acadian flora and fauna, visitors can also follow it to the Sieur de Monts Spring, where they can learn about ancient Indian history, or the Wild Gardens of Acadia and Nature Center. The path is an easy, level walk that features small footbridges and boardwalks that link the Park Loop Road and the Tarn Trail.
