Grandgent Trail Details

The trail is difficult to reach and very strenuous, requiring sure footing in some rough, steep areas during the ascent. As it wanders through a mixed forest of spruce, cedar, birch, and maple, the trail can seemingly disappear, and there are many unofficial and unmarked trails leading in other directions. Stay on the official trail marked by blue blazes and cairns. Trailhead on Sargent Mountain summit/1 mile to Giant Slide Trail.
