Parkman Mountain Details

Parkman Mountain is one of three smaller peaks just west of the much larger Sargent Mountain. Parkman, Bald Peak, and Gilmore Peak each offer great views in its own right. Access to the 941-foot mountain is via the Parkman Mountain Trail, which climbs rapidly through groves of softwood and over a series of granite knobs to the mountain's summit, one of Acadia's popular open-topped peaks. The hike is often combined with Bald and Gilmore Peaks as part of a multi-peak hike.
