Gorham Mountain Details
The trail up Gorham Mountain is one of the most popular hiking paths in Acadia. The mountain is located on the eastern side of Mount Desert Island and is only 525 feet high. It is lush with pine and spruce forests, which you'll hike through before reaching the open granite summit. At the top, you'll be treated to views of Sand Beach, Otter Cliff, Champlain Mountain, Dorr Mountain, and Cadillac Mountain.
