Fees & Reservations Details

Visiting Acadia National Park requires payment of an entrance fee between May 1 and October 31, no matter how you enter or where you go in the Park. - Entrance Pass - $35 (May-October) Good for entrance into Acadia National Park for one vehicle for seven days, including the date of purchase. Motorcycle fee is $30. - Individual Entrance Pass - $20. Good for entrance into Acadia National Park for one individual (pedestrian, motorcycle, bicycle, etc.) for seven days, including date of purchase. - Acadia Annual Pass - $70. Good for entrance into Acadia National Park for one vehicle for one year from date of purchase. There is a fee for a few additional activities, including camping and some ranger-led programs (most are free). Cadillac Summit Road: - Driving to the summit of Acadia National Park's Cadillac Mountain in 2025 requires a $6 reservation between May 21 and October 26, available exclusively online. Reservations can be booked starting February 20, with 30% available up to 90 days in advance and 70% released two days prior; a park entrance pass is also required. Camping (per site per night): • Blackwoods Campground: $30 (May-October). Note: Off-season and winter camping are not allowed at Blackwoods Campground. The front gates are closed until the campground reopens in spring. • Seawall Campground: $22 walk-in, $30 drive-in (when open). Seawall Campground is closed during the off season, typically from Columbus Day to the Wednesday before Memorial Day. • Schoodic Woods Campground: $22 walk-in tent sites, $30 drive up tent/small RV, $36 RV with electric only sites, $40 RV with electric and water. From Columbus Day until Wednesday before Memorial Day, Schoodic Woods Campground is closed for the season. Reservations are recommended for camping at Blackwoods Campground from May 1 to Oct. 31. From the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, reservations are required for organized commercial and noncommercial climbing groups wanting to climb at Otter Cliffs. They are not needed for groups of friends climbing together. Some ranger-led programs require reservations made no more than three days, or three business days, in advance.
