Dorr Mountain Details
This mountain is sandwiched between Champlain Mountain on the east and Cadillac Mountain on the west and offers incredible summit views in all directions. There are four different ecological zones on the mountain: hardwood forest, hemlock, mixed pine and birch grove, and alpine. There are also four different trails leading to the mountaintop. The most interesting route is a ladder trail that works its way up the steep east face with aid of ladders and iron rungs. This trail is not for children or people who are afraid of heights.
