Bernard Mountain Trail Details
Bernard Mountain Trail (formerly known as the Bernard Mountain South Face Trail) curves gracefully over the beautiful wooded slopes of Bernard. Majestic spruce and firs tower over the rushing streams and small cascades that run through the small gorge near the trailhead, and the ledges along the second half of the trail offer good views of Blue Hill Bay. The rugged, rocky trail terminates at the Bernard Mountain's 1,071-foot summit with spectacular ocean views. Trailhead: Mill Field off of Western Mountain Road.
