The lake is part of a 113-acre camping resort, although it is also open to the public for day visits. But keep in mind that you will have to pay a daily fee to visit the lake and to use the facilities. A large section of the lake is roped off specifically for swimmers, and in the summer, there is even a lifeguard on duty. Other amenities nearby include a concession stand, playgrounds, kayak and paddleboard rentals, volleyball courts, and even mini-golf.
