This historic house in Chicago is Hyde Park neighborhood was once the home of physicist Arthur H. Compton. Before he moved into the home, Compton won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery that light was both a particle and a wave (otherwise known as the Compton Effect). Although the home is currently used as a private residence, you can still see this stunning two-story brick home from the outside.
