Pu'u o Maui Details

Numerous "hills" fill the "crater" of Haleakala, although in truth neither of these terms is accurate. Haleakala's crater is really an eroded valley, while the hills are actually volcanic cinder cones. Of the latter, the 600-foot-high Pu'u o Maui is the largest. You can see Pu'u o Maui from the Kalahaku Overlook.
