Campers should be prepared for rain or cold, and nighttime temperatures can drop to near-freezing. Daytime highs average between 50 and 65 degrees. The campground features picnic tables, grills, drinking water, and pit toilets. Sites sit close together in an open, grassy area near the Hosmer Grove forest. There's also a a self-guided nature trail beginning and ending at the campground. Space is available at both campgrounds on a first-come, first-served basis; no reservations are accepted, and stays are capped at three nights per month in each campground. Hosmer Grove campground has a limit of 50 guests and a 12-person per group limit.
