Cloudland Canyon Waterfalls Trail Details

The crown gem of Cloudland Canyon State Park, this trail takes you to one of the most spectacular natural spots in the country. Although the view from the East Rim parking lot is pretty amazing on its own (you can see the lush, deciduous forest for miles), you will want to make the 1-mile descend through jagged canyon crevices until you reach the beautiful Cherokee and Hemlock waterfalls. It's a steep journey down 400-feet and 600 steps, to be exact. You will want to catch your breath and enjoy the peaceful trickling of the falls before making the journey all the way back up the canyon.
