Covering almost 3,000 acres of wetlands and reservoirs of an old rice plantation, this property is one of the best year-round birding destinations in Georgia. During the winter, it is common to spot various waterfowl like mottled ducks, green-winged teal, and northern shovelers. However, songbirds, shorebirds, and wading birds are present throughout the rest of the year. The best view for birdwatching is on the eastern side of the property. Here, you will find towers and impoundments where you will get a front-row ticket to Mother Natures winged creations.
