The Loop Road Details
This scenic gravel road takes visitors through some of the more remote parts of Big Cypress National Preserve. Otherwise known as County Road 94, the Loop Road passes through several points of interest over its 24-mile circuit, including the abandoned Monroe Station; you also may see several exotic species of plants and the occasional Burmese Python (although the latter is actually pretty rare.) There's a ton to do and see along the loop road, with lots of opportunities to see wildlife, including gators and birds.
