Plan Around Snorkeling
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Snorkeling Details
The park's waters are usually pretty calm, and the reefs are fairly shallow, so snorkelers will have plenty of success seeing the colorful fish that make their home in Biscayne National Park without having to dive deep under the water's surface. Some of the best snorkeling spots within the park include the shipwrecks of the _Arratoon Apcar_, the _Mandalay_, and the (unnamed) 19th Century Wooden Sailing Vessel, as well as the Fowey Rocks Lighthouse. Local operators authorized to lead snorkeling tours within the park are Miami Ocean Rafting and Tropic SCUBA, LLC.
