Go ahead, bring Fido with you to Biscayne National Park!
Plan Around Pets
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Pets Details
Leashed pets are welcome to enjoy themselves at Convoy Point and on the developed areas of Elliott Key, as well as onboard your private boat (except in Boca Chita Key harbor, where pets are not allowed). Otherwise, with the exception of service animals, pets are prohibited in all areas of the park. If yours is a nautical pet, feel free to have her join you on your boat, but be sure to check with park rangers for complete guidelines. For example, pets are not allowed on Boca Chita Key, nor on boats in its harbor. And of course, never leave your pet unattended in your vehicle or on your boat.
