Plan Around Accessibility
A good stop is not just something to read about. Once it belongs on the day, move into a saved trip and build the route around it.
Use this detail page to confirm that the stop is worth it, then carry that decision into a trip draft while the park context is still fresh.
Accessibility Details
While access to the park beyond the mainland requires a boat, the park's facilities on the mainland are accessible; the Dante Fascell Visitor Center at Convoy Point has ramps, elevators, and boardwalks to accommodate people with mobility limitations. The guided boat tour from the visitor center also is accessible. On Boca Chita Key, Elliott Key, and Adams Key, the restrooms are accessible, but not all of the buildings are. Sidewalks can only be found on Boca Chita Key, around the harbor and the restrooms.
