This is an in-depth six-hour ranger-led summer bike and adventure. Your six-hour day includes driving time to and from the main park road to quieter neighboring Wetherill Mesa, as well as the four and half hour bike and hike, roughly half your time spent hiking and half your time spent biking. The three mile round trip hike through lovely pinyon-juniper woodlands includes spectacular canyon views. You'll then bike to the Long House trailhead and do a three-quarter mile round trip walking tour of Long House, the second-largest village, home to 150 people in the 1200s! Tour and learn about the 150 rooms, kiva, tower, and central plaza. Bring your own bike or rent one at a local bike shop. Pack your own lunch, bring plenty of water, a hat, and binoculars for cave art sitings! $18 per person, limited to 15 people, Wednesday and Sunday 9:30am, June 1 - September 4.
